The Internet is something we all use, but rarely can even the most tech-savvy how it works. Everyone has had the experience where a connection was lost and has searched in vain for a solution. The offer wireless Internet connectivity to a device without a wired connection. There are three different types. Another concept similar to this is the wireless networking, and there are three different types of networks.
Wireless Internet Distribution Point Wireless Internet
Instead of using old-fashioned dial-up connection (with the famous annoying dialing sound) of this type of internet uses unlicensed radio bands. A good image to help understand the radio signals is to think in a game of pitch and catch between transmitters and receivers. Transmission towers to send the signal by converting electrical signals into electric magnetic waves. Transceivers placed eight to ten miles away to collect and interpret these signals. Radio and TV audio turns makes audio and video. Both are long distances, but the Internet is generally transmitted to a narrower range with less energy.
Internet-WIFI Wireless Mesh
In a mesh system, a gateway has a wired connection to the Internet. This requires a router. A router has two functions acts as an Internet modem that receives and acts as a gateway for connecting to the Internet can be divided and used by different sources. WIFI is capable of sending wireless signals across multiple nodes using radio frequencies and thus provide Internet connectivity to multiple computers, cell phones and other portable Internet devices. Connection is similar to a distribution point, the only difference is the wired connection.
Satellite Internet Wireless
This is similar to satellite TV works way. A satellite maintains a constant orbit about a point on earth. Is able to provide Internet connectivity to multiple locations without a wired connection at a time.
Wireless Networking Network refers to a connection that is divided and used for multiple recipients. The networks have three different sources.
Cellular wireless Internet network
This type of connection used in both the wired side of the cell towers and network broadcasters, which receive and transmit signals. This is the type of signal and other PDA phones used for voice and Internet access.
Hot Spot Wireless Internet Access
This is the type of connection available in coffee shops around the world. Some places offer free wireless Internet, while others require a user fee. Provides Internet connectivity for computers and cell phones within a range of up to 600 feet. The connection can be sourced by wireless Internet and a satellite or cable Internet connection as a fiber optic cable.
